Successfully held the 6th IWA International Conference on Ecotechnologies for Wastewater Treatment, organized by ICRA and LEQUIA-UDG
ICRA together with LEQUIA-UdG organized the 6th IWA EcoSTP Conference in Girona. More than 550 people from around the world attended the Conference where the latest advances in technologies for water and wastewater treatment were discussed. Dr. Maite Pijuan, Research sicentist at ICRA, together with Prof. Ignasi Rodriguez-Roda, from LEQUIA-UdG were the chairs of the Conference. More than 30 researchers at icra attended the Conference, presenting ICRA’s work to the International communtiy.
The Conference aimed to discuss the latest cutting-edge eco-technologies for a sustainable transition in wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery, at urban and industrial scale, giving special attention to the efficient transfer of knowledge into practice. The ICRA research group on nature-based solutions and emerging contaminants (Gianluigi Buttiglieri, Lúcia Helena Santos, Marc Castaño, Marta Turull, Lucas Alonso, Sara Rodriguez-Mozaz, Esther Mendoza, Sofia Semitsoglou-Tsiapou, Joaquim Comas, among other researchers) participated to the conference.
