Conclusion of the Digital Water.City DWC project and presentation of the results at the 1st IWA Digital Water Summit

On 18 November, around 200 stakeholders of the water management sector gathered in Paris and online to attend the conference “Digitalising urban waters“, to learn about the work done within Digital-water.City (DWC) for almost four years. The conference was organised following DWC’s last General Assembly that took place on 16 and 17 November.

DWC developed a series of digital solutions and assessed their potential in improving city water management. Within DWC, ICRA contributed with a new low-cost method to detect combined sewer overflows employing temperature sensors.

Results of the project were also presented at the 1st IWA Digital Water Summit, held in Bilbao 29-Nov-2-Dec, where the audience emphasised the important upscaling potential of the solutions developed.
